I am not a slap-up cook but the dishes I did try to make were well received by my picky eaters. I consider that a small miracle. Not only are there some good recipes in this book, the story is so interesting. From growing in a small-scale community in South Carolina to existence the possessor of a well known restaurant in New York Metropolis/Harlem. Very enjoyable read

Information technology's practiced to know that I've been cooking like this for years. This book has wonderful stories virtually Miss Sylvia and her family. Each recipe has a story. I'ts kind of like learning to cook from an auntie who is telling stories as she shows you how to practise information technology.
Of course, you lot take to like this kind of food. I was drooling all the way through!
